Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. To ensure transparency to all potential and current students in the United States, we provide this notice that describes our company policies and practices.

What kinds of information do we collect?

Upon registration of an account or purchase of our materials, we collect the following types of information, including, but not limited to:

  • Credit/Debit card information

To comply with certain state reporting or course requirements we may be required to collect the following additional information during registration or during completion of your course studies, including, but not limited to:

  • License number
  • Social security number
  • Scanned proof of at least 18 years of age
  • Driver’s license number
  • Credit/Debit card information

During the completion of any state-required continuing education requirements, you may be required to have a disinterested third party proctor the exam with no conflict of interest or financial interest in the passing of the exam. Proctor requirements vary by state; typically, a conflict exists if the proctor is a minor, relative, spouse, supervisor or your employee. We may be required to collect the following proctor information during the completion of your course studies, including, but not limited to:

  • Name
  • Employer
  • Job title
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Social security number
  • License number

We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If we determine that a child under age 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete the related information from our database.

How is this information used?

We use this information so that we can provide our products and services to you. This type of information is also used to contact you to share relevant product and service updates as well as to conduct company research relating to your opinion of our products, services, or potential new products and services.

Information sharing with third parties.

To comply with any state-specific course requirements, we may use your information to report any course completion information or to comply with any regulatory agencies and their third party administrators.

We do not sell or exchange any of your personal information to third parties who want to market their products or services to you. However, it is possible in the future our business may be sold. In this instance, your personal information may be transferred to a third party.

Additionally, your personal information may be released in connection to any subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process, in response to a request for cooperation from law enforcement or another government agency, to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or to enforce our user agreement or privacy policy, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.

How do we store this information?

We have high security standards to keep the information you provide is safe. We maintain strict control over access to your information. The only employees who are permitted to access your information are those with a business need-to-know. Our standards to safeguard this information meet or exceed the requirements of federal and state law. To protect your privacy, we do not store your credit card information after registration.

How can I opt-out?

To inform us that you no longer would like to be contacted about our own products and services and special offers you can reach us at 800-873-9353. You can also email us via the Contact Us tab on our website. Our office hours are 8AM-5PM CST Monday through Friday. Your request will be granted immediately, however, there may be a delay between your request and the actual removal of your information from our system.

We make available on our website links to websites operated by third parties unrelated to us. It is recommended that you review the Privacy Policy at each such website to determine how that website protects your privacy. We provide links to these websites for your benefit and access to them is at your own risk. We are not responsible for linked third party websites privacy practices.
